My early background is in industrial design, but it is complemented with design engineering knowledge accumulated over many years developing new products for various manufacturers, large and small. I've been fortunate to work with several great engineers who gave me the time to learn from them and grow my knowledge and skill set beyond what is typical for an industrial designer.
I have deep expertise in conceptualizing, engineering, and launching award-winning architectural and residential lighting solutions. My knowledge base includes part design and detailing of sheet metal, extruded aluminum, die-cast, and injection-molded components, with advanced proficiency in CAD modeling, prototype development, and production documentation. I've demonstrated a consistent record of performance across leading lighting manufacturers and excelled in bridging industrial design with engineering precision.
